Leena - Co-founder

Once upon a time, in a land called Alberta, Leena Manro worked as a well paid, but very sad lawyer.  She often wondered what would happen if she’d chosen a different path. Onc day she quit her job, packed her bags and moved to B.C. to pursue her hearts dream… to write, dance and act in sketch comedy! (And now she is very happy!)  Leena is co-founder / co-creator/ co-writer and co-director of Bollywood Shenanigans and I Can’t Believe Its Not Butter Chicken.   She was last seen in last summer’s outdoor hit, Bollywood Wedding, as Hanuman’s love interest, Amisha Patel.
Munesh Sharma

Munish - Co-founder

Munish migrated to Vancouver from Regina Sask three years ago. He is an actor, writer, producer, dancer, and poet. He has co- written every single Butter Chicken show and was most recently seen on stage in Echo theaters production of Burn This and last summers outdoor stage hit Bollywood Wedding playing the role of Hanuman Singh.Munish is very proud of his South Asian heritage and culture he not only wishes to entertain but also educated people about his culture.
Jay

Jason

After trying many different things in many different places with many different people, it was one moment that brought Jason to where he is today.  That moment was a snowboarding accident.  “It made me realize how short and precious life can be.”  Since then he has come to realize that happiness is the most important thing, and the things that make Jason the happiest are acting, dancing, and music.  He has been fortunate enough to combine acting and dancing in a few different projects.

“The first time that I truly felt alive and fully committed to the present moment, was during a dramatic scene I was working on in an acting class.  Since then my goal has been to repeat that feeling.  I finally realized what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.”  Jason is also passionate about fitness, outdoor activity and spirituality.  Today he pursues his love of acting above all else.

Kevin

Kulveer

After studying Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Oxford, Kulveer decided the next logical step was to move to Vancouver and seek out an Indian sketch comedy group.Kevin has been acting in I Can’t Believe Its Not Butter Chicken since 2009. Kevin was also a member of the ensemble cast of the outdoor hit Bollywood Wedding in the summer of 2009.

In a prior life he was once an internet entrepreneur, but decided that acting was cooler.
